Q: How do you install and setup for use
A: 88precepts, Many Zmodo devices use the "Zink" connection method to quickly and easily set up your device. In order to determine if your device can be connected using the "Zink" connection method, please power on your device and wait for the status light on your device to turn blinking green. While it is blinking green, you can check the available WiFi signals through your phone's WiFi settings page. If you see the network ZMD_SAP on your WiFi settings list, then you should use the Zink connection method to connect your device to the WiFi network. Q: Can you turn the cameras off while you are home? Do pets set off the motion detector?
A: Bud1, Yes these cameras have an away and home setting which can be adjusted within the app. Any motion will trigger a motion alert, but it really depends on the environment the cameras are in, if they are in an area with constant motion it will not receive the cool-down needed to trigger another alert. Q: Does the motion sensing work through glass? I’d like to mount them inside looking into the yard.
A: Chief, If the cameras are pointed directly at a light source or looking through a window there will be a glare, keep this in mind when positioning the camera.

A: YES U CAN, JUST DL THE APP. WORKS GREAT

A: Linds, There is no limit to the number of cameras you can be added to the app. The Zmodo Indoor 720P Wifi Wireless Network Surveillance Cameras were not built to work with DVR's.

A: RockstarFan, The Zmodo-Indoor 72p Wi-Fi Wireless Network Surveillance Camera is compatible with Amazon Alexa. We are in the final testing stages for Google Assistant devices.
Q: Are they wireless? Also can you watch live feed on your phone not just recorded footage?
A: They are wifi but require an electrical outlet for power. Yes, they do have live feed on your smart phone. They also have microphone so you can speak to whoever or whatever (my furkids) in view.
