“Do you have to be set up with WiFi in order for this camera to work? I understand there's an app but what if you do not have WiFi at your house? Will it still work battery operated and via the app or is WiFi a necessity?”

• Wifi is required for this to work. And as far as the "battery" for this camera there is none. Once you pull the power cord it is dead.

• No, you will need to have a WiFi network at the location of the location. Additionally, this camera is not battery powered. It requires a connection to a standard wall outlet for power.
