“Is there an option to save video to a NAS or shared drive on your local network? Or is there a program I can download or purchase that will work with this camera and have that option?”

Because of the very low price for this item, there really isn't a good way to record video footage. We do have a slightly higher priced camera called the EZ Cam (Best Buy sku number: ZM-SH721-SD) that has an SD card on the camera that can record video.
