Great but...
Posted .So I bought this phone because I like Razer. I bought it about a week ago. There are some great things about this phone and some bad things about it as well. I don't usually put out reviews but I believe that putting this out there would make some people think about this phone. Pros: Great speakers, rapid charging, LOVE 120hz display, finger print sensor on the side (very awesome), phone feels pretty good on the hand and the screen size is just right. Also, WiFi calling is available for this phone so that's also a plus. Gaming on it is great with anti-aliasing option. 4000mah battery. when I'm on it all day with 120hz option, I get a good 5 hours none stop. But average use of this phone, you get it all day long. Cons: here it goes, the earpiece for the phone is not good. I can barely hear people on it. Connection wise, I use T-Mobile and I am not sure if that is it or not but I would come to the part where I want to smash it on the floor. I call people and they can't hear me on the other end. I would call someone and I would here silence and all of a sudden the phone would connect and can't hear anybody on the other end. I would have to call FIVE times in order for me to get something I already got a new sim from T-mobile and still the same issue. At some point I just told them to call me instead. Connecting multiple bluetooth is also an issue. Connecting my wireless headphones and have my Gear S2, I would have to literally have to go to the bluetooth settings to connect it manually. I mean come on man. Camera, I don't care about because I don't take very many photos. I think that's pretty much it. I'm hoping that there would be some kind of an update from razer or something about this issue I am having. I'm also wondering if any other users are having this issue as I do. I may just have a defective phone maybe? I'm not really sure. The phone heats up when gaming for a few hours. Another thing is the screen brightness, it doesn't get very much. If you are outside all the time, forget about it. Don't do it. This phone does not get very bright. Speaking of screen, they don't utilize the whole screen area. There's already a bezel and to give it more on the screen itself is no good. If your screen is looking at a white background, you'll notice that there is grids on the screen itself. Like little tiny grids that's only noticeable when your screen is covered with white background (like launching google chrome and your default goes to the actual google search) Overall, I am happy with this phone and plan on getting the next Razer phone. Just a few gripes about the bluetooth connection and Mobile connectivity is my main issue. Something like a patch or something would be great. f you want a gaming phone, wait fo the ASUS one. You might like that one more. I would not recommend this to someone at the moment. THis isn't a budget phone either. For the specs that you get for this phone, you can get a good one at a lower price like the Moto G6 play or something like the One Plus 6t or something. Well that's it for my rant. Thanks for letting me vent :)

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I play pokemon go, call of duty, and a slue of other games for mobile and this phone lets me game for hours and still take calls and I just leave my charger at home. It has quick charging so I just let it charge for like 30 mins or so, for a good, charge and then I'm off again. Excellent device for Razer, so good I bought the second one and still have the first one.

Overall great experience, with a few flaws
Posted .Pros: Gorgeous screen and refresh rate, loud speakers, amazing performance. Seriously the screen makes this phone. So far great battery life. Going from a Galaxy +, this phone wins hands down. Cons (which are heavily outweighed by the pros): The LED notification light may be damaged on my phone from factory (i have left razer a FB message but no reply yet). It baaarely lights up. Additionally, the speaker covers are not evenly flush across the phone--looks a bit cheap. The generic "no 3.5mm jack" is annoying these days.

Just needs a headphone jack!
|Posted .The razer phone is the best phone I have ever owned, and upgrading from an iPhone 6, I am still used to have a headphone jack so I can charge, and listen. Other than that. The screen, speed, and speakers are the best I have ever seen/heard on a phone.

Best Gaming Phone. Period
|Posted .So i'm not a Razor fan, but this phone caught my attention as i do quite a bit of mobile gaming a Netflix watching. First thing is that this is NOT a phone to be used outside as it has a IPS display and you can barely see it, but despite that i still give it 5 stars because it excels at everything else. The 120hz display is phenomenal to play games and watch movies on and it has no lag what so ever when multi tasking while doing anything video oriented . It also has Dolby Atmos speakers which sound amazing and i also own a set of Jabra 65t wireless headphones that take advantage of atmos as well as the Bluetooth audio in my car. I've had this phone for a week now and i'm highly impressed since i came from a Samsung Galaxy S9+ so i can highly recommend this phone for anyone who just wants a nice, unlocked device with a low price tag and high quality components.

Q: QuestionI am wondering if this device will work with t-mobile's wifi calling and text over wifi features. Just because it will connect doesn't mean these features are available. Thanks.
Asked by techmanty.
- A:Answer Yes , the service works perfectly. No signal lost at all, wifi connection is good and liable, texting and calling takes a few secs but the connectivity and calling is very great. Razer phone could improve the mic system, that all I have to say about it.

Q: QuestionCan this phone be connected to Verizon? Big gamer and this seems right for me .
Asked by Fmzt5150.
- A:Answer The Razer Phone will work with GSM networks, like AT&T, T-Mobile, and their subsidiaries. It will NOT work on CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint.

Q: QuestionI read someone that this phone doesnt have a headphone jack. Is that true?
Asked by Jmastaa.
- A:Answer No, it does not have a traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack. It uses a USB-C type port to deliver audio (so you would need Razer Hammerheads or other headphones with USB-C) or you can use the included dongle that allows you to use your traditional 3.5mm headphones.
