It was frustrating for me and I had issues I could not resolve. I bought an HDMI cord and all of the issues dissolved. It was so much better

I have this cable connected to my PC's GPU (GTX 980) and it works flawlessly to deliver true 4K @ 4:4:4. When the cable from the other vendor arrived it did not work out so well. The cable had the same specs but delivered weird display artifacts. I switched right back to the Rocketfish and things were beautiful again.

That's why I bought this new cable and it works perfectly. Cables really do make a difference. I drilled new holes in the wall just for this cable because it's worth it. Your ht is only as good as your weakest link... buy good cables.
