    These cables have a better metal plating on the connectors that reduces electrical impedance. Lower impedance translates to better audiovisual quality.

    I upgraded to HDMI cable from the VGA cable. I was told that it would improve the video signal. The improvement is minimal. but I'm happy with the results.
