It displays high quality images when used with the laptop or the Videogame Consoles. It allows you to have both video & audio quality well defined. I bought a cheaper HDMI cable for another TV Set and I was not able to display the Video image at all from the laptop.

Had someone connect it to whatever and all is good so I guess it does do whatever it is suppose to do...

That may or may not be true. I do enjoy the picture quality with this cable, but more than anything it is clearly a nicely manufactured cable when comparing it with a generic cable. Well worth a little bit extra just for the build quality, if not for the picture.

But, as for the function, it has been working just fine. I've bought cheaper ones thinking that it doesn't make a difference; but believe me, after going through so many that worked only for a very short time, it's worth spending a little bit more.
