They are not stiff and can bend to be put in place behind your wall mount to television set. We have no connectivity issues that audio and video remain Flawless unlike with some of our Monster Cables in the past where we had to unplug them and plug them back in. These are great

I priced one elsewhere and I found this one close by for a lesser price. It might be planned to be in the wall for the application, but I am not using that way. The length turns out to be close to what I needed. It has been working just fine.
