  • WILL NOT DISPLAY 4K HDR - Samsung KS8000

    I bought this cable in the expectations of it having the necessary bandwidth to display HDR on my Samsung KS8000 paired with my Samsung K8500 HD Blu-Ray. While this cable was able to display 4k just fine, it wouldn't display 4k HDR. The KS8000 would not go into HDR mode (Will display "HDR Movie is playing" when HDR content is found) I troubleshooted by using a Monster branded HDMI cable rated for HDR, and I found that the Monster Branded HDMI did indeed display HDR correctly. In ending: To be fair, I did buy an "open-box" for the cost savings. Though I don't believe that has anything to do with how it performs. I will be returning this to Bestbuy, and looking for another HDMI product.

    Purchased because there weren’t any other kinds on the shelf, so was stuck with buying this one.. but it did what it needed too... saw no difference with. Cheap version thy I had bought!

    I bought the cable to be used with my new ROKU 4K Ultra HD but when I placed the cable and attempted to change the setup to 4K it wouldn't allow me to. It didn't recognize the cable to 4K Ultra HD so I had to keep the settings at 1080P?
