CNET claims HDMI cables either work or do not work with no variation in picture or sound quality. In my experience both cables were identical in performance despite the price difference.

I could never get a picture with these, and so I thought I had a bad receiver. After hooking up some old HDMI cables, I had a picture. I missed the time to send these back, so I'm stuck with them.

The rocketfish cable did not fit properly to my tv and I had to frequently adjust the cable because the signal would fail.

I connected cable and it does not make any difference. True it has gold plated connectors, but cable still has coper wires. Unless, cables are made of gold
