    Thought I would need an HDMI connection for the best sound quality for my new Samsung 3.1 soundbar, but I could not get it to work properly, so I simply used the optical cable that came with the soundbar, and the optical cable worked very well. I returned the HDMI cable to Best Buy customer service, where it was received very willingly without any return problem. Quite possible that the HDMI product may have performed perfectly with another tv or soundbar.
