I use hard wired connections to my internet connected equipment, whenever possible, to save wireless bandwidth for those devices that can't be hard wired and this Linksys 5-port switch is great to help me add those additional lines when I add more devices like cable boxes, game consoles, Apple TV boxes, etc.

This switch is a very unique model i bought from best buy. It doesn't break down easily. It had enough ports for me to connect all my devices. I will ourchase more soon.

It can't be any simpler than plug and play. This is a Gb switch which I use/bought primarily to extend my home network into the garage for a Dish wireless Joey. I have an already existing Airport plugged into it as well as the WAP for the Joey. Everything works flawlessly. I was initially surprised by how small it is. It is in a metal case which I have mounted on a backboard in the garage.

I got this for my home to expand ports for my router from the Cable company, it was easy to install, and one thing that was not clear, is that you can put the internet cable into any port in the router, the old ones had designated input for cable and output, this one automatically detects it, makes it e little easier, but it wasn't clear in the instructions.

Just a simple switch allowing you to run your router through it along with up to 5 different devices supporting a wired network. Simple to set up...plug it in, plug your router through it and then each of the wired devices you want to share your network with.

Have used Linksys products for years: Simple, reliable, and works as needed! Have a few of these to extend network access to pcs in the home business and the studio, where a wire connection is the safest option (do not want to have wifi usage issues when working with a client - wifi is left for the cell phones!!).

The Linksys SE3005 5-port Gigabit switch is ultra simple to install and use. It is a fanless design which means no noise and less to go wrong over time. A really nice feature is that the power and ports are all on the back side, but the indicator lights are on the front, which makes it great to have installed for tabletop use. As a bonus, it has a sturdy metal case!

Increase my speed 10X. Used on a large farm, with cat6 wire. The last spot had 90mbps now it has around 900mbps.

Works great and as advertised. Ive had it around 2 months and havent had any issue with it. I honestly forgot it was there.
