I researched the current Air and gen 10 iPad along with the gen 9 and decided that the 9 was sufficient for my needs. Saving $ was an incentive. I didn’t care about colors - I keep it in a case and no one can see what color it is anyway. Am happy with my purchase.

If you’re still looking of IPad with headphone

This is one of the last generators with headphone jack. It was a gift. Of course easy to setup to mirror existing device as they didn’t want to take their current one with them.

Knew what I wanted as my old iPad battery was toast. Also the old one was getting to the point that updates were maxed out so apps weren’t working. Nothing major to report as it does what I want it to do.
