It has better features and love the slide in and out paper glide. I've not had a chance to print pictures yet. That will be the telling feature of this printer for if it is a real keeper.

My experience to date: 1. The setup took a little time but a bit of trial and error, I managed it. 2. The printing speed for ordinary word document is painfully slower than my older HP Deskjet 6840, which I retired.

Left town for two months-( we had had it one month ) moved and hooked up to a different WiFi. It has had a bad attitude ever since!

Like that the paper tray automatically comes out when you start to print, bt wish it would detract when you finish. Black cartridge has had to be replaced already, but did run off a lot of paper.

Great printer, easy to run

For some I haven't figured out how to use for a 5x7 or bigger photo.
