Not worth the aggro

I have to verify wireless connection once or twice weekly. Sometimes it prints instantly, sometimes the wait is up to one minute - again whirring, carriage moving, internal humming. It prints from a CD/DVD tray which I have never used, yet I get repeated error message: CD/DVD tray not inserted correctly. Taking the printer in for repair / replacement. Bottom line: Seiko / Epson make great products. I've bought many. Perhaps this one is a lemon. Whatever, but definitely not worth the aggro.

The WORST

It keeps printing partial pages, or blank pages, and then repeating the process over again. I have done all the software updates, it's just not good, and my $40 printer from 15 years ago actually works better than this one. Wish I could still return it...

Bad customer service and bad printers

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You know it’s really sad this is the third printer that I’ve been through. trying to connect to the iMac and all I’ve had is problems. they say that they are compatible but then it like stops working right in the middle and of course now I’ve missed the return date. So it doesn’t break down before I’m supposed to return it always breaks down after. That’s the case of the last three printers of course that just makes more work for me. I would love to see Customer Service back to the way it used to be but now everything is so impersonal it Hass to be done digitally email or online and then I’m totally frustrated. I just take it as a learning lesson

Not the best ink saver.

Useful but...

This printer replaced a 12 year old Epson 3640 workforce printer. The 3640 printer connected to my router at a distance of 15 feet. The 7100 receives a poor signal at 8 feet. Why? Same router, same internet provider.. Epson puts blame on internet provider. My internet provider demonstrated that my service is excellent as indicated with signal strength for cell phones and tablets and computers.
