Frustrated with connection issue

Everytime i needed to print scan or copy it takes too long. Its not as smooth as it should be. May be instead of wifi its better off with cables which doesn't not come with the printer

The Expression printer will not operate if a black ink cartridge is expended or any cartridge is removed. If a color cartridge is expended, you may be able to continue printing temporarily with black ink. It's best to always have extra cartridges on hand. All the Bells and Whistles

I have always stuck with HP. It was beyond time to upgrade the dinosaur we used. It seriously took 15mins to set up from opening the package to finishing the installation! 15mins that's it and completely unheard of. All of the instructions we super easy to understand and the interface touch screen was extremely user friendly. The wireless connection is just so convenient. I can print from any device, anywhere, at any given time. Since we are a split household between IOS and Android this printer is perfect. Set up AGAIN super easy and takes seconds. The printer interface is automated, opens when printing and closes upon shut down. Scanning and copying are a breeze but the quality of the documents blew it out of the ballpark! I chose not to enable the quiet feature because of the printing speed choosing this. You definitely know what buttons are being pressed so that comes with fewer mistakes. I will however try out the the quiet feature to see how much the print speed would suffer, if anything. The print quality is impeccable! Really the only downfall I see with this is that it doesn't have a fax feature. So this may not be ideal for the business person who needs access to a fax machine. Overall, I would highly recommend this printer! Really easy to use and extremely easy to set up! Instructions are very easy to understand. The following verbiage must be included but in no way swayed my opinion. "This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review."

Slow to respond

I wanted to print a document that was in color to black-and-white and the option wasn't given. The installation was not easy as I expected. It wouldn't install wirelessly. Message said the signal was weak. The printer is about eleven feet from the router. It still hasn't connected to wi-fi. This isn't my first install of a printer. I've installed two Epson Work Force printers that were very easy to install compared to this printer. Flimsy unit, not sturdy as I expected it to be. I would not purchase this item again. Uses ink fast, too. I have not printed photos yet, but have printed docs that had areas in color. I bought the printer to print my own photos, but I'll send them out to a membership warehouse instead.

Terrible and Complicated

Epson XP-7100 sucks

It's not usable with the 3 cartridges they provide, it will not let you past the setup step to check the cartridges - stupid! I planned on using this for black and white printing, not color. So this printer is like having a pet rock!

Horrible product

It is not cheap, and I have had nonstop problems with it since I bought it. Now, the paper constantly jams. Troubleshooting won't fix it. If I turn off the printer, the jammed paper is ejected in the normal spot. I have gone through everything they tell you to fix the problem, but it still won't work. Never again buying Epson. It is just so frustrating to have another problem in a long line of issues in the year since I bought it.

Epson sucks now

I tried calling Best Buy for support and couldn't get anyone on the phone who could assist. Contacted Epson and they said they would send me a remanufactured one. I asked for a NEW one and the pushed back... epic fail by all parties

NOT Compatible with Macbook Pro!

I specifically asked for recommendations for a printer that would be compatible with my Macbook Pro. After following the enclosed instructions to set up, multiple attempts to resolve the problem by phone and chat, followed by TWO several hour long at-home (expensive) visits by Geek Squad "pros", still won't scan, and keeps giving me messages about updates, which I've tried to find a way to install wherever there supposed to go (again, no instructions!), to no avail. Avoid like the plague.

Poor Print Quality

Tried cleaning and alignment of print heads, new cartridges etc, still having issues with printing. Scanning features work fine but don't rely on this for quality printing.
