Epson has long been known as one of the leaders in the printer business alongside other big boys like HP and Lexmark. Overall they're known for their reliability and affordability, but the Epson XP-7100 makes a big leap into a tiny space - that is, this thing is small but powerful! Out of the box, the printer is secured with plenty of blue tape and protective coverings (be sure you get them all off!) Inserting the ink cartridges and calibration takes a few minutes, but that's standard these days for any quality inkjet printer. I found the configuration of the wifi to be easy and straightforward. The setup to my Mac was quick and painless and the included drivers CD and availability of drivers online makes setup easy for any computer out there. The brilliance of the XP-7100 comes to light when it's finally time to use the printer. After placing some paper in the paper tray and clicking "print" on my computer, a magical hidden piece slid out from the front of the printer to hold my printed paper. When it was done, there's an icon on the screen to slide the tray back in. Genius for small spaces (and less dust mess). There's also built-in trays for printing on CDs, photo paper, and more. This thing does it all, and by the way, it does it well. The print quality is phenomenal on plain paper or photo paper. For those who want to print photos at home or make a DVD or CD as a gift, this printer is for you. I'm very much looking forward to exploring more of what this printer can do, but from the few days I've had it now, its small footprint, easy setup, and incredibly versatile uses will make this the go-to printer for my household for years to come. Was dusty and dirty and came with no ink cartridges. I don’t know if this is a failure of Best Buy or the manufacturer, but either way, extremely disappointing

Cheap plastic and not user friendly. I think it is over priced.

I clicked print in black and white on Adobe pdf and it prints out with photo ink and ran out of all photo black ink even though I never print a photo at all. I don't recommend it to anybody.

I bought this printer In January, Worked fine until March 1st,Then it stopped working, It wouldn't print in ink on the paper, yes it was ink, I did all the thing Epson trouble shooting told me to do with no result. Still not working.

It waste so much ink, and I've adjusted my settings to the bare. When I print on certain paper it just smears ink all over the place. I've taken the cartridges out and had to use a paper towel to soak up inks. I am absolutely disappointed in this printer.

Purchased 5-10-21. Scanner function failed 8-28-21. Best Buy policy to bad you own it. Try to get Epson to replace or repair. Epson call tree, defect help is just as horrible. Rotten way to treat customers.

Perfect for home or office. Easy setup with wifi use.

Not happy at all. Had problems with it the day after I purchased it. Didn’t return it because I threw the box away. I don’t recommend it.

Discounted to $100, not worth $29.99. Of course, by the time you give up on it, the time to return has expired. Better return policy with wal-mart. Too bad, a lot of purchases at Best Buy but can't say this one makes me want to go back.

Scan Quality is terrible for photos esp dark area's. Horizontal streaks in scanned photos make the photo scanning function unusable. Going to have to return.

Don't buy unless you like buying only very expensive Epson cartridges. Epson has now locked out generic cartridges. I'll never buy an Epson printer again!

I have a strong mesh network for wifi, so it is solely this Epson printer that was the problem. I have no problem with the old or new HP printer. I would need to reset the Epson printer everytime I tried to print.

Goes through ink VERY quickly. Ink cartridges are expensive. And even if you only print in black and white for some reason it still uses all of the individual color cartridges. This is a scam.

Thought I’d try something other than HP and I guess I got what I paid for. Used this printer a total of three times and now the fourth time I need to use it, the printer won’t even power on. Nothing but junk.

This is a disappointing printer. It constantly looses WI-FI connection and often fails to connect to Epson cloud. Also very slow to print. Would not get again.

I love this Epson printer. I especially like the individual ink tanks.
