Total money grab. Previouse printer would at least let me pring greyscale, or whatever color was available. Terrible in a pinch, and shame on HP for this business move. Used HP for 29 years, and I'll be switching brands now.

You’re correct that the printer will not print unless all cartridges contain some ink. With some HP printers including yours, that’s by design. I work from home so it's really important to be able to scan, print and copy. The feeder is why I deducted a star. It squeks, and sometimes it pulls the paper in a bit crooked. Today the squeaking is driving me crazy. Hoping to find something to make it stop, soon!

This newer model doesn't seem to be made as durable and "freezes up", meaning I have to unplug it wait and plug it back in to get the scanner, and wireless print to work. I get error messages, but upon powering down and back up, everything works fine until it gos to sleep again. I can't really fairly review it just yet.
