Stay away from HP

Sometimes I can scan, most of the time I can't. I've been with HP for years and I will NEVER go with them again. They made this much, much harder to do and much, much less reliable.

I’m sorry that your printer and its software have performed so poorly for you. I can certainly understand why trouble with the HP Smart App as well as difficulty scanning would be an aggravating combination. I want to help you remedy these problems, so I’ll suggest some resources that I hope will guide you to that end.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site to installing and using the HP Smart App, especially the FAQ portion, which covers common questions as well as difficulties users have encountered. Find that guide here:
