Spiders and their webbing can cause a alert! Lol! So just a feather duster or something that can reach to remove both because the webbing can also obstruct the camera view as well.

Ring recommends you not do that since the device can’t detect motion from inside a window. Oh, and if you want to store your videos on the cloud you’ll have to pay a monthly subscription fee. Make an informed choice before buying.

I bought it with a solar panel to keep the battery charged. So far I haven’t connected the solar panel, so can’t say how it works.

Not even a discount per added device. That is bull but the device works great and has a pretty good picture.

Great Device But Poor Battery Life

The battery life is much shorter than I expected and I’m now looking at other options. The camera is in front of my house so perhaps the battery life is better in an area with less traffic (ex. cars in driveway and people coming to the house).

Pretty Dang Good

Sometimes battery is quite short lasting depending on how often it gets triggered. Clear shots at night and during the day, feels much better being able to see what’s going on outside. Only small con is the batter can be annoying to charge and the solar panel absolutely does not work.
