I’ve been waiting for a good Wi-Fi extender and this one is it! My router was in my room and my parents complained how the signal was weak for TV in the living room so I finally decided to buy this one after looking up a bunch of Wi-Fi extenders. Because I have the same brand and model for the router, got this and it was worth. Setup took a little bit of time (15-20 min) but there’s clear explanation on how to do it. Only used about a week but it works great! Speed on phone was in the 80mbs but now 250 . Speed on iPad was 10mbs, now 45-50mbs. Laptop was 80-100, now 200-220.

    Better than Expected

Set up was quite simple and easy through the app. Once set up, I was pleasantly surprised that that the connection range was very strong at the distance I placed it as I had trouble with other devices in a similar location. I was even able to move it slightly further away with no drop in speed. Plus, the Netgear actually produced a stronger WiFi signal than the one provided by my internet company. The app is very elegant with a bunch of features that I would consider unnecessary for everyday users but great for optimizing location of device and overall speed. Very pleased so far as I have usually been with all Netgear products. For around a hundred bucks it outshines other brands with similar specs.

This is an awesome addition for extended coverage due to my router being so far away from where I need better connection!

By Jason Levine 12345 Excellent product, especially when plugged in with Ethernet, I was getting about 50-80 download, 10-20 upload on my PlayStation, this jumped it to 200 and 100, works great for what I need it for. Perfect

Easy, fast installation. Great coverage, filled all my coverage holes. Netgear interface second to none. Footprint better than plug into the wall versions. Excellent AX router,

I needed an extender to reach the far side of my house and this did just that. It uses the same network name that way you don't have to switch networks.

Downloaded the Nighthawk app to help with installation. Setup was straightforward and I was up and running quickly. Now we’re running a seamless network with whole-house coverage. And no more “.EXT”.

This worked well, I am pondering buying another one, it gives good range, but I doubt it gives the full listed range, except in open fields. It works well with wifi 6 and it doesnt require the .ext at the end or switching networks, WHICH I HATE!
