It also provides an access point for ethernet. It works with my Wi-Fi 6 router on the other side of a large home and through a wall. Replicates your existing network name which is a plus.

The reason I went with the another netgear is because it did a phoenomenal job for me over the years. Recently upgraded my internet and the old repeater was having a lot of packet loss (Wireless transmitted data to the laptop etc) So, got that and
