They use their laptops for school work and this provides the speed they need. Storage is ok for now because the boys use online tools (administered by school) for all school work, which is where their documents are stored. Love that I could get this entry level Mac for their school and leisure time. It was worth it to pay a little extra to get a device that will work for a long time.

Revolutionary

I can only say that I wish I had done it sooner. The MacBook Air has made the transition painless. The display is vibrant and the speed of navigating through my apps is amazing.

Intel needs to be scared and for good reason, seeing how great the performance on this erased all doubt of why Apple jumped ship and went in house to make their own CPU, because they do it better. Apple please update the design as this is a monster performer in a ho hum body design.
