Q: Is the delivery time/store pick up date accurate? Or are they delaying orders?

A: Delivery times are never accurate. Bestbuy has changed my delivery date 5 times already. Honestly will never order from bestbuy again.

Q: What is the difference in a macbook air, vs a macbook pro?

A: The MacBook Pro has slightly better battery life, GPU, speakers, and microphone, and screen brightness.. The MacBook Pro also has the Touch Bar, but the Air just has a regular row of function keys. Another pretty big difference is that the MacBook Air has no fans where as the MacBook Pro does have fans.

Q: What change in these model from the previous model

A: It has a new processor designed by Apple called the M1. It is stated to be faster and more efficient than the Intel's they sell. There are a few little changes, this is just the largest change.

Q: Does this MacBook have a built-in HDMI port?

A: No. It has 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports that you can get an adapter for to give you HDMI.

Q: can you download your ipad apps on this laptop?

A: Yes, all apple apps now compatible on the M1 macbook pro and M1 mb air and M1 macmini.

Q: Will this go on sale for Black Friday?

A: Most likely not. Given this has just now released and how new it is, it will most likely not go on a black Friday sale this year.

Q: If purchasing by open-box, are they from the open shelf display or is it from a returner?

A: Yes, they are often returns from costumers. The Geek Squad usually revises the merchandise and make sure everything is acceptable. Once you purchase the open box item, it comes with warrantee.

Q: How well does this laptop work with zoom?

A: This Laptop works very well with zoom. The camera quality has gotten better by bringing in natural colors and lighting. The zoom quality is perfect!

Laptop retails at $999 but can usually be found $200 off. Super portable and lightweight. Tapered design makes it easier to pick up from the table. New keyboard is clicky, quiet, and has good key travel. Screen gets bright enough for outdoor use. Speakers get loud. Long-lasting battery. Fast. Never gets warm even without a fan. Pros: slim, light, long battery life, fast, power-efficient (does not get warm), fingerprint sensor & function/multimedia keys, quiet keys, fan-less, budget-friendly Cons: no MagSafe, outdated screen & webcam, needs more variety of ports (no USB-A or HDMI), no BootCamp support

My First MacBook Air and I'm in Love!
As someone who has been using Windows PCs for as long as I can remember, I was a bit hesitant to make the switch to a MacBook. However, after just a few days with my new MacBook Air 13.3" with the M1 chip, I'm completely sold! Right out of the box, I was impressed by the sleek design and premium build quality. The aluminum unibody feels solid and well-constructed, yet it's incredibly thin and light, making it easy to carry around wherever I go. The compact size is also a refreshing change from the bulky Windows laptops I'm used to. Setting up the MacBook Air was a breeze, and the transition from Windows to macOS has been surprisingly smooth. The user interface is clean and intuitive, and I'm amazed by how well-optimized all the apps and software are for the M1 chip. Speaking of the M1 chip, wow, is this thing fast! Coming from an older Windows machine, the performance boost is night and day. Everything feels snappy and responsive, whether I'm browsing the web, working on documents, or even trying out some light photo editing. The 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage have been more than enough for my needs so far. Battery life is another area where the MacBook Air shines.
