Best MacBook to date!

I'm an Apple expert. This is by far the best MacBook they have ever released and in time their self-produced processors will become even more powerful. Don't hesitate to buy this or another of the M1 models. But for the money, you cannot go wrong with the 8GB Ram MBA.

Best performance-per-dollar/watt over Intel+AMD

The new Ryzen 5900HS might be a solid contender, but in terms of performance per dollar, the M1 is going to hold the crown for 2021 until Apple releases their next gen MX laptop. If you can find this on an open-box deal, just buy it.

Here’s why. I video hockey games, edit them in Camtasia and export to MP4 for posting to Vimeo. The intel version took 55 minutes, faster than my 2013 MacBook Pro. The M1 version took let than six minutes. Any questions?

Simply the Best

My previous Apple laptop was still going at 8 years old, but I decided it was time to upgrade to newer model with a lot more updates. If I was forced to point out a negative, I would say its weight is a lot more than I expected. BTW: It's speed is remarkable.
