I bought this Mabook Air in April of this year with high hopes and expectactions and Apple did deliver with this system. My only real and big complaint has to be the fact that the screen spontenously cracked while I was doing work on my computer. After a long night of work, I left my computer on my desk and went to go get some papers from my basement. When I returned after a few minutes and turning the screen on, I noticed there were vertical and horizontal lines on the left edge and the bottom of the screen. Then I looked closely and noticed there were 2 cracks on the left angles of my screen. The cracks propagated a black bar going horizonal on my screen and an a black bar going verticaly. The glass of the screen is intact so it's under the glass that is broken. I am completly bafffled why this happened and calling Apple Support did not yield anything substantive to help. They wanted me to pay out of pocket to replace a screen I did not even damage. This issue has been reported by many people online with the same scenario of spontanous cracking. Just google it and you will see.

So happy I decided to buy my Mac on best buy. I tried getting the education pricing at then apple store but to no avail and I was not going to buy a Mac for $1,200. the fact that best buy has the education pricing is beyond amazing and the great perks you receive once you purchase are way more than what I would have received at the apple store.
