My previous shark vacuum died right before I was to have guests over. I have been a huge Shark fan since 2014. They seemed to die every 3 years or so but because they were powerful and relatively inexpensive I overlooked that. Naturally when my previous one died I immediately looked for another shark vacuum to replace it. I have laminate flooring and tile throughout. A floor attachment was a necessity to me. After a quick search I found a lot of shark vacuums didn’t come with a floor attachment anymore. I found this and maybe one other model that I could not find at a store near me. The other model was slightly less expensive than this one but because I was expecting guests I bit the bullet. I told myself “it’s a shark, it’ll be great”. It just last more than 2-3 years. I knew prior to purchasing it was not a floor attachment but actually the bottom portion detached from the stand up portion. Although it was not ideal I had no idea how frustrating it would be. This vacuum is powerful, sure but the functionality is lacking. Since it is not a floor attachment the hose is still attached to the base. The base is obviously not on wheels. So you have to either hold the base and the wand the entire time vacuuming or put the base down flat on the floor. Carrying both the base and the wand doesn’t seem so bad until you realize you have the entire house to vacuum. CAUTION: if you put the base down you can’t extend the wand as you normally would as the base will fall. Powerful machine but am super disappointed. I will probably return it depending on store policy. Hopefully with a little more time to research I can find a Shark vacuum with a true floor attachment that won’t break the bank. If not, I will look at other brands.

Have only used once so far, but works great. Purchased this to replace another Shark to have the no hair wrap feature. So far, so good! Only complaint is that it is quite hard to push on carpet, no matter the suction. My last one seemed "self-propelled".

We have had several vacuums over the years. This is truly the most powerful and versatile vacuum we have ever owned. It works very well in all applications.

Had a previous Shark and this one is even better. Great for carpet and wood floors, especially with 2 dogs.

This thing is a BEAST! We had a Dyson before this and thought that was good but this blows the Dyson away!

Picks up our two dogs hair easily. Great suction.the fact it is Self propelled is great!! Love the light feature, makes it easy to see dust and hair, etc.

I love the no tangle roller! My long hair has always been a problem clogging up traditional rollers. Excellent suction and easy to clean. Best vacuum I’ve ever purchased.

The Vacuum works well. It has suction control on the handle and performs better than our Dyson on plush carpet. The wand and tools are a little awkward, otherwise would be 5 stars.

Went over two rooms that had been vacuumed with our Dyson. Couldn’t believe how much dirt was picked up and how it lifted to carpet. Great purchase.

This vacuum seems to vacuum up dirt from underneath the foundation of my house. I can't recommend this vacuum enough.
