    After the first week of use I have been impressed with the amount of dust this vacuum has picked up that my old one left behind. A majority of the main level is hardwood with carpeting in two rooms, this vacuum does great on both. The ability to release the hose quickly to clean corners and hard to reach areas is impressive, but being able to release the "canister" from the power head is extremely amazing for getting under beds, cleaning the stairway and catching the other hard to reach spots with short clearance. So far this seems to be a great investment!

    I purchased this when my last one died. This one is powerful but does not have a lights that turn on when vacuum is on. I really liked that feature, especially when using the hose to clean the stairs.

    I have a 4 years old GSD and there is absolutely no hair on my hardwood floors or carpets thought my house. I used to have a Dyson but it left fur in the floor decided to get this loft away vacuum and will not be going back to Dyson.

    This thing has great suction and doesn't get clogged up easily like my cordless dyson did. It actually works pretty well for larger debris.
