I am very disappointed in this vacuum. Based on the research I did, I was expecting a very good vacuum. I even opted for the more expensive one to increase the odds of getting a good vacuum that would last. Well, it lasted all of 3 months before it quit working. It will not even turn on. The much cheaper vacuum I had before this one - a Panasonic - is still working after many years. I can only hope the warrantee is as good as they claim it to be. Otherwise, I will be stuck with a very expensive lemon.

Shark Vertex DuoClean Power Fin Vacuum lasted just over 2 years. Started having issues, not picking up, hard to roll. We called Shark (5 yr warranty), their tech support was rude, difficult to understand. Shark has not stood by their 5 yr warranty.

I have had this vacuum for 2 years. Last year I had to have the floor nozzle replaced, the roller stopped spinning. That piece wasn't covered by warranty. Well, here we are 1 year later, and I am having the same issue. For the price the vacuum should last more than 1 year!

It came yesterday, my husband put it together which was very easy. I used it for 25 min. and it stopped running. It's been about 30 mins still will not come on. I did not even have the chance to really use any of the options with it so I can not say how they work ! Very disappointed with this. It is my 3rd Shark in 5 years. I bought the higher priced one this time thinking it would last more than a year. Not even an hour !!! My rug is not filthy either.

Vacuums excellently, but hard to push on even a very low pile carpet! I’m 76 years old, so I have to vacuum my carpets in stages, resting every 20 minutes or so. It does such a tremendous job of picking up (even the dog hair from my 2 canine companions), that I decided not to return it!

This is a great vacuum. The double rollers do a great job on tile and carpet. I really like the fact the exhaust does not disturb the path you are about to vacuum. No more chasing dog hair around the house!

I would like to give this vacuum a 10! I purchased it for my niece, that has two large huskeys, a beagle and a cat in the house. She just loves it. It picks up the pet hair with ease.

Terrible condition of packaging, it seemed like the vacuum was probably ok. Had this as a Christmas gift and only 3 uses after unpacking it has died. Of course it is past the return exchange period. Previously had shark products that were great, shark customer service and Best Buy’s are awful concerning this purchase

Terrible. I’ve only used it a handful of times and it’s given me problems every single time. Now the want won’t clip in and it’s unusable. Even when it sort of worked it’s to top heavy and the hose is super tight. Very cumbersome. Wish I could return the.

I have an older Navigator Shark that out preforms this model. This poor rating is due my frustration of doing the same spot 3-4 times over with this vacuum.

We've had the vacuum for five months and it has worked pretty well for four of them. Over the past month, there has been times when it will shut off for no reason. After the last time it shut itself off, it no longer turns on. We've troubleshooted and still no luck. Oit of all the Shark vacuums we have owned, this one has been the worst.

I’ve always used sharks and what this felt like an upgrade ended being a waste of money. It works awesome at the beginning until it just burns. It’s heavier and harder to Navigate than other models. So sad to have lost out on so much money in about 60 days.

it picks up much more than the Shark Rotator it replaced. The Rotator lasted 8 years and only broke because I broke a solder point trying to replace the cord hook

Broke after purchasing in May 2023. Barely lasted a year for such an expensive vacuum.

Its very heavy and for me, being i am handicap (bad back and i have to walk with a cane or walker)so as much as i hate to return anything, i gotta return this, its just too heavy

I purchased this vacuum on December 14, 2024 & it stopped working on March 12, 2025. While vacuuming it started turning on and off and now it won't even turn on. BEWARE you may be purchasing a defective product.

It met all of our needs. It was very easy to assemble. The swivel head is nice. The only disappointment the size of the canister, it's a little small.

Horrible! Does not pick up cat hair at all. The "lift away" section falls off all of the time AND it's quite heavy. It goes all by itself, which you would thing would be a good thing. NO! My arm hurts from trying to get it to go where I want it to go. It has a mind of it's own and takes much longer to vacuum that my old Shark Navigator. DO NOT BUY THIS.

The different options for floor levels and surfaces makes more of a difference than previously thought. Caught it for a great price on sale!

It was a great a vacuum until it decided it wanted to randomly stop several times the second time I used it. Cant trust it. And the one star reviews on Amazon all say Shark customer service is terrible.
