Great printer but the ink!

You can't even find replacement "cyan" cartridges sold individually. Probably because everyone is constantly buying them. The printer does work well and I love the 11" x 17" capabilities, but the cost of this ink is going to force me to go back to HP so I can get back on there $10 a month ink package. That was only costing me $120 a year for ink, while I've already spent over $300 in just a few months!

It doesn't allow you to email scanned documents. You cannot press the scan button on the printer itself - you need the app. The app itself is not very user friendly and you have to have an elevated knowledge of cloud storage to use it appropriately. The printer's default settings print on both sides of the pages and no matter how many times you try to change it, if it is a word document it will keep printing on both sides. PDF documents seem to be ok. This thing gobbles up ink like its thanksgiving dinner and won't work if just one of the cartridges are empty. Recently I got a "Printing Error - Stopped 'Filter' Failed" message and to fix the issue there is a complete manual. I tried resetting, rebooting, reinstalling, updating, and nothing works. I have only printed about one and a half reams worth of paper so far it is totally bogus. I just got this a few months ago and I am super disappointed. I missed deadlines because of this printer. If you have projects that have time sensitive deadlines then stay away from this. I will never buy Epson again. I want a refund but I think I am out of the warranty period. I understand the need to sometimes call customer service but it is ridonculous to have to call for basic things all printers in 2023, especially "home business" printers, should be able to do easily.

Scanning has been difficult to figure out. Default back up tray does not set. When the default tray is empty it chooses the wrong tray to continue.

Strongly recommended as it connects in multiple ways as well as the printer has its own email address that you can print from anywhere (not just your home or office). Great Work!

We also use the automatically fed scanner which has been an upgrade from our old printer. This printer has been a great addition to our business in our home office without breaking the bank.
