    Replacing Ink Cartridges Quickly!

So disappointed - It sucks up ink faster than my former HP printer! I just got it and had to put in another cartridges already. Ink may be slightly cheaper than my former HP, but at least it lasted longer. It seems to curls up the edges of the paper which didn't do so with my former printer. Not a fan in purchasing my first Epson. I should have too advice from the other reviews discussing ink issues.

Hi MissAngie, we appreciate your time in sharing your experience. The ink cartridges included with the Epson WF-7840 printer are designed for initial setup only, and your printer will use most of this ink to charge the ink delivery system. Many factors affect cartridge yield, and you can find the information at www.epson.com/ink-yield-cartridge-info, along with the ink yields on the product’s home page at www.epson.com/For-Work/Printers/Inkjet/WorkForce-Pro-WF-7840-Wireless-Wide-format-All-in-One-Printer/p/C11CH67201. If you’d like to call our Epson Support Team, we’d be happy to help you try to optimize any settings to improve print yield. Please call (562) 276-4382; Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm PT. Kind Regards, Sam - The Epson Team. Epson

This was a replacement for an epson wf-7720. I wish it had taken the same ink as the previous model since I have several in store, but overall it is a good upgrade from precious model

NO ink comes with printer...cartridges are empty

I read so many good reviews about this printer so I bought it to give it a try. It says it comes with ink. And the box did contain so called " starter ink cartridges " BUT, THERE IS NO INK IN THEM AT ALL. I could not print even one single test page. Not one. So, even though the price says $299, it really isn't. You will also have to buy ink for it which is about $60 just for you to even try the printer out. If you don't end up liking the printer then, you are out of the $60 from having to buy the ink cartridges just to try the printer. I got the printer home and all set up and couldn't even see the quality of the print because I couldn't get one page to print with the so called starter ink cartridges. It said they were empty right from the beginning. It may very well be a good printer but, I wouldn't know because nothing tells you to buy ink. The description says it comes with ink. So, someone should fix that and set proper expectations for people buying this printer. Very disappointed about that.

NOT a wireless printer, but prints well.

Prints fine. Wireless functionality never worked consistently, after much troubleshooting. I finally had to connect it to the router with an ethernet cord for it to work. I've had it about two years and has worked well otherwise.

Works fine. Did not like that i had to buy another set of cartridges, to get started. Should say that on the box, or online, prior to purchase.

I like this printer. It took a little effort to get started because I was use to other printers, but now I got it. I especially like the receiving tray that extends and retracks. I would recommend to anyone. I gave one to a friend for Christmas.

This is a great printer for my home office. It handles the volume that I print. Do not like that it does not come with any manual and you have to download it. Other than that it is high quality.

Great printer with a lot of nice features. You never have to worry about pulling the tray out to catch the paper when printing, it comes out as the paper does. Remoting printing is an amazing feature, well worth the purchase.
