The only drawback that I had was when we were out of town we lost power and internet. The cameras went offline and never recorded for the 4 days it was offline I had to reset both cameras, Gen 1 & Gen 2, so pretty much useless when you lose power and are not at home to connect to my I phone.

Visual and vocal quality is outstanding The opportunity is in charging the battery You have two small screws under the unit you must remove without losing them then detach the entire unit to plug it in to charge and then remount it without losing the screws or the screwdriver

Ring Doorbell decent

Adjustable motion zones work by identifying visitors based on a change in temperature, and sending a signal to your smart device when it detects one. Very convenient to have and you can check from every place you are, if something is wrong you can call the police
