I'm obsessed with my new ring camera. I decided to use battery and wifi for the sake of the view needed instead of the doorbell. The battery drains within 5 days with recording pretty much every motion it detects. After charging the battery which charges quickly I adjusted my motion detection so that the battery doesn't drain as fast. We will see... The picture quality is very good as well as the sound on both ends. I've recommended this to my mom.

Great Doorbell. Add to it the small solar panel and have not had to charge for months. Holds in high 80's.

Really like the quality of this over the ring doorbell 2. At first I did not like that the battery was internal and not easy to take out to charge every time. But, it last 2-3x longer than the other so I appreciate it now. If it goes back on sale I’ll buy more. I have 5 of these all screwed in various places outdoors. Screwed on fences etc. all exposed to elements and after a year have lasted.

This purchase was great. It helps alot when it comes to seeing anything around your home very responsive and you can communicate seemlessly through the app. After the free trial the subscription is a must but definitely worth it!

I love my Ring! I have it set up on a no drill mount outside of my apartment. It feels much safer being able to see what’s happening outside of my building whenever motion is detected outside of my door.

The 2 Gen has a good video and nite vision and audio, but the motion detectr is lacking in this version. It will record late ,you will see the person walking away if in live mode but recording is good. I do like it because it lets me know when my package has arrive and mostly being able to see who's at the door.Before buying one of these go to YouTube to watch the reviews. The only reason I Didn't give 5 stars because Ring requires a monthly fee

Good product. Easy to install and setup. Easy to manage as well. Video quality is good. Hooked it up to old doorbell wiring, so no hassles with needing to charge the battery.
