    I mounted my TV over an existing cove above my fireplace. I built a frame inside the cove to attach the mount. While this mount is of excellent quality and is a great bargain, I probably should have bought one that extends out more due to the location of my TV. It is very hard to get behind the TV to access any of the inputs/outputs. For mounting to a flat wall, this is an excellent choice.

    I bought 2 of these, 1 for my 50" Samsung Series 7 TV & 1 for my daughter's 60" Sharp Smart TV. I was told by the Best Buy associate that this TV mounting bracket was set up for most all brand TVs within the size dimensions they are made for. Not very difficult to install and fit both of my very different TVs with no problem. They made my decision a no brainer.

    This VESA mount is very adaptable to a number of situations. Fastened to studs behind the wall, it can support considerable weight. It supports tilt in the vertical AND horizontal axes and can telescope out a bit as well, making for easy access to connections on the back of the TV.

    I made it easy for the install as I located studs and mapped out exactly where to place lag bolts for wall mount. I believe the wall mount is a DIY install, but needed the team's help to lift TV in place.
