It is close to flush against the wall but allows access for adding new components. Best of both worlds.

Then attaching the TV was a balancing act. After the initial struggles, the stand seems to work great.

The wall bracket went up fine, and the flaps to hide the screws are a clever idea, but the tv brackets are too close to each other on tv. Probably would work better start specs with size 50"to 90". Also, the bracket are flimsy which make it difficult to slide for tv centering, and cable management was challenging.

It was hard to work with rear connections. This wall mount is much better. It has greater downward and left-to-right angle adjustments too.

I thought this mount was a little on the higher price point, until I opened it. It's heavy duty and has great rotation options. Once you mount it, it's staying there.
