Total tech wrapped the cords around the "x" mechanism to manage them, but this interfered with function.

When my handyman went to install he couldn’t bc of the missing piece. I now have to wait to ship back and get a new one. Was offered no further discount or CS accommodation for poor experience. Lost money on handyman and will need to reschedule when I get correct parts. Make sure to open your packages and check for parts.

I ended up with a model that extends the tV from the wall another 16 inches which ultimately worked better for me.

Posted .Yes, this mount can extend 6.8" from the wall, has 15 degrees of pan, 7 degree of upward tilt and 12 degrees of downward tilt. If you are in need of a mount that extends further than that it's good idea to try one of our full motion mounts.

A crew "supposedly" arrived to install the mount and TV, but instead of doing the work, they sat in the van for 20 minutes, then left. They never left the van, or came inside the facility. I watched them the whole time, and had the apartment door propped up for them, yet they never budged from the van. Really "great" service, NOT.

After a day or two you will notice it slowly drifting to a position that the mount supports. I will be purchasing another mount when it is convenient to schedule another Geek Squad appointment. Avoid this model at all costs. Spend $199.99 and get the SANUS Elite - Advanced Tilt TV Wall Mount For Most 46" - 95" TVs - Extends 5.9" for Easy Cable Access and Max Tilt - Black (SKU# 6212437). It holds big TV's like a champ.
