    You have to have internet just scan. HP wants to get their claws into your info sooo bad, you can barley do anything with this crap without internet connection. If I scan a sensitive document why would I want to have their company people looking at my customers business?

    This is a solid printer, they get you on the toner but you knew that. Strange you need two apps - one for scanning and one for printing- but it works ok.

    Overall - excellent printer. HP has made installing the printer WITHOUT the 'extras' much more difficult. For someone who just wants a printer, it's annoying. The printer is excellent for small jobs, and I always prefer a document feeder.
