Very usable, affordable cheap price and smart printer, copier and scanner.

good printer i love it so far. only thing bad i have to say about it is that the set up process to get it to connect to the internet was kinda a pain it just kept printing connection guide then disconnecting from the network i had to buy more ink buy the time i got it to work.

This printer gets some things right while suffering from classic issues we all face with printing at home. On the positive side, printouts are of reliably good quality. HP Ink and it’s subscription services generally hits its mark, too, based on my 50 or so pages per month needs. It also is a full service model, so you can do anything you need whether print, scan, or fax. HP Support helped me a few times and did a fairly good job. On the negative side, though, this printer was not as easy to set up as the box suggests. I am tech savvy, and it still took me more time than I’d have liked to get it up and running. And while HP support was good, the issues I faced and had to contact them to resolve should not have even presented themselves out of the box. Printers tend to be very finnicky, and this one certainly is temperamental. With only a tiny screen and no USB cable included, a small problem quickly escalates into an insurmountable roadblock if you’re printing under time pressure. If you plan ahead, are patient, learn about what works and doesn’t, and maintain your network without frequent changes, this printer has versatility to its offerings and is good for the average at home needs. Business users should look elsewhere.

When it works, it’s great. Every few days I print something and each time I have to unplug the printer to reset it then wait for it to turn back on and reconnect to WiFi. Then I have to fuss with the app to ensure it’s online. When really, it should be ready at all times, or at least have a faster way to “wake it up”. Considering returning.

Ok item, printer knocks it self off from wifi when not used for more than a day, have to reset it 2 times already
