I purchased this Chromebook as a travel companion for for a trip where I needed to do a fair amount of work on a computer. It was big enough to reduce eye strain yet small enough to fit in my luggage and easily be passed around a table for others to view content. The keyboard was comfortable for typing without errors.

Bought this for my son and it's simple to use and he loves it.

Good for the price point. Bought it for 10 yr old son. Not a huge loss if he breaks it. He mostly uses it for gaming,but my intent is for him to use it for school related activities. School is just getting started so I don’t have any input on that yet.

The acer CB311-11H is fantastic for web browsing or use by grade school students and possible for even higher ages. Battery life even at maximum brightness and lite word processing and web browsing, I was able to achieve about 9-12 hours, pretty nifty. The unit felt solid in my hands, grip was a bit slippery but not overtly, I also felt a good handle on the device as I walked around with it. I think that is due to the fantastic thinness and omg the lite Wright, felt like a few sheets of paper being carried around. The huge screen bezel detracts from an already small screen and you really need to use maximum brightness all the time to get good clarity. The keyboard travel play though felt just right. The unit was very speedy, no issues with wifi connection, and the on board memory never seemed lacking for basic use of web browsing, lite game play and lots of note taking and word processing. The Chromebook can open to 180 degrees but I see no real benefit in that added feature. You must also use in a well lit classroom, office or home.Charging is accomplished by a very rapid usb C charger and just about any generic usb c charger, big plus there. At this price point it is a winner just as long as you understand it’s limitations of on board storage and screen clarity.

Great laptop! It was a great buy for a great price. I have owned other Acer laptops and loved them. I didn't have any problems from them. Bestbuy always has great products for great prices. We bought this one for our 11 year old daughter, for school. she loves it. It is user friendly

This Acer chromebook is a really nice product. It does everything you need to do and fast . My first chromebook was a Acer had that for many years then made the mistake of buying a HP. Had it for a year nothing but problems with it. Back to Acer a much better Chromebook.

This Acer Chromebook 311 is a basic Chromebook and would be good for all ages - young kids to older adults. This is a great Chromebook for accessing the Internet - So Zoom meetings, websites. Simply use it with Google apps including Google Docs/Google drive and over 2 million Android apps. You need to have a Google account to use it - then everything else is easy. It is small, very lightweight, solid, easy to use Chromebook. The bezel is larger than I am used to, but that's okay. It is compact and really has everything you would need: USB-C & USB-A ports & a headphone jack. It has a built in camera too. It charges via the included USB C charger. So if you're charging, you can't do anything else with that port BUT this thing stays charged for days! So charging won't really be an issue for me. This Chromebook is definitely on the inexpensive end of Chromebooks. It is solid and it is worth buying. I would recommend this Chromebook for sure.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my 7 year old who mainly wanted it to play games. I was skeptical because of the low price, but it has been perfect for what he is using it for. I had it set up in less than 5 minutes and he absolutely loves it.

Switches on instantly like a phone . Very light and compact easy to carry . Simple to set up. Biggest drawback is no Windows and cannot save files like pdf. Totally cloud based.

This is a great little chromebook for kids to work on homework! The price is unbeatable. My kids have had no issues using it to access their school programs, as well as play some educational games and watch youtube videos. I definitely recommend!

I purchased this device on sale price for my elementary school kid. She is very happy with this. So far we have no issues. Good for a school going kid. Occasionally I used it to check my emails etc. It does it functions.

Good for the money. I bought two of these laptops for my kids and for the price It Was excellent under a $100. I can manage the devices with the google family link, set timers and I’m also able to lock them all from the app.

Good backup laptop. Tiny and useful when I just want to pound out some emails and still watch TV or otherwise not be glued to a desk. The Chromebook commands are a steep learning curve for me but it works well so far.

Great value. It was almost half the price of the same Chromebook as last year. It’s not a MacBook Pro, but my 11-year-old granddaughter is absolutely thrilled with it. It’s been attached to her hip since Christmas morning.

I suspect it might be simple for many, but if you are just looking to access the internet, complete some spreadsheets and documents, download photos, play simple games and check your email, this computer is a great purchase.
