Still have the same problem. Its an eARC problem, not the cable. Wish the cables were included with what you buy, like oldie times, and dont have to guess whether your 10 year old cable can do 4k, eARC or Atmos passthrough. Frustrating.

Faulty / not 4k

Plugged my xbox series x into my 4k tv with this and the image was distorted and very small. I tried changing the display settings on the xbox, but it only showed 720p.. I used a different cable I had lying around and it was working fine in 4k, and the xbox was recognizing 4k.
