    During installation, a pipe was broken by accident. My installation tech was extremely remorseful, went and got the materials to fix the break, and helped us file a claim in order to get refunded from charges. Great experience.

While some sound is normal during operation, we recommend reviewing the “Dryer – Noises” article in the Support section of our GE Appliances website for a guide to common sounds and their causes. It’s also important to ensure the dryer is level both front-to-back and side-to-side, as uneven placement can increase noise. For improved drying results, try selecting “Max Dry” option, make sure the exhaust system is clear, and review the “Clothes take too long to dry” section on page 12 of your Owner’s Manual for more helpful tips.
