WORKS GREAT, EASY TO INSTALL, FEATURE OF SEEING YOUR COLOR TANK AMOUNTS

While I try to be objective in my reviews, there is little good I can say about my HP Smart Tank 7301. It has been nothing but trouble since I bought it in April, 2022. It is now March, 2024 (that's right, less than 2 years) and the printer driver has gone bad. I found this out after spending hours scanning, executing fixes, removing and reinstalling the drivers and apps, turning off and on my computer, printer, and wifi, and engaging with HP online. It has always been glitchy. It falls asleep and sometimes won't awaken, often having to be turned off and back on again and then waiting for it to through its checks. Paper jams occur far more often than they should from both the scanner feeder tray and the stock printer tray. It has to be operated through the app to work properly which is a bothersome hassel. The only advantage it has over my old DELL is the large ink stores (which is why I bought it) and the fact that I've never had to adjust the print lines. I paid about $400 for it and two years later it's unusable and going in the garbage bin. I would highly recommend anyone reading reviews to look past the reviews of those that just bought and setup this printer combo and read the reviews of those that have owned one for several months. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I'm deleting all HP apps, etc. from my computers and going back to a DELL, or some other brand. Two years of headaches is enough for me.

Excellent printer for real estate agent needs. Prints attractive photographic flyers. Large paper tray capacity for printing multiple flyers and documents.

The printer makes nice copies and it nice to have the ink tanks. But when trying to print a 4 x 6 photo on photo paper, its does no line up. There is always a border line on the bottom and sides. Went on line to see if there were any issues and many reviews show the same thing. Should of just brought another Canon printer. Pictures were always great.

I love it because it saves a lot of ink. The print quality is much more than acceptable. and it's a 3 in 1. Excellent.

I am a senior citizen and found the set up to be easy using the online instructions. This is my first Smart Tank printer and I was concerned about a possible mess with loading the ink reservoirs. It was easy peasy and not a drop of ink was spilled. The quality of the color print meets my expectations, and I especially like the duplex print feature.

This printer was not so easy to set up. However filling the the ink went smoothly. Printing is good quality. It appears that there will be considerable savings on ink.

I wanted to like it. I love the idea of bottled ink instead of cartridges. However, it scans pages and switches the order. Yes it does let you use the app to move pages but why should I have to if I put them through in the correct order? It’s started spitting out random blank pages at times. If I highlight three documents and tell them to print, it will print three copies of one and not print the other two. The copy function gets stuck all the time and I have to unplug and plug it back in to get it unstuck.

This item is excellent for you office. There may be a little higher cost upfront but you will make it up in buying ink for this machine. Copies are clear and crisp.

Set up was not complicated and linking to our internet was as well. I a 81 y.o., so these facts are remarkable

I purchased this printer because I was tired of buying cartridges. When it was installed, I discovered that it is definitely not a stand alone printer. It was not going to meet my usage requirements so I returned it.

Quality of print is really good. Color is bright.
