With the magnetic attachment it is really easy to remove the keyboard and just use the tablet by itself. Now the rub: I had the logitech keyboard without a trackpad on my previous iPad. The trackpad adds to the depth and pushes this a little farther away from you, so be ready for that.

It feels well-made - the case is rigid and protects my iPad well, and the keys have a satisfying amount of travel that makes typing comfortable. The trackpad is also very responsive and makes navigating iPad OS a breeze. The backlit keys are a great bonus for low-light situations.
