Im 5’4” and have some trouble getting clothes out. So if you want this washer i highly suggest a step stool. Otherwise its been great thus far

yes, it is a little pricy, watch Vidos on set up and use, don't push the buttons its touch they are sensitive, after to month you bill will go down

The 2 gentleman the install my washing machine wore real professional. They took the time to give me instructions on my new washing machine.

We chose to go with this specific brand and model based upon extensive research of other buyers' experiences, consumer reports, etc. We were hesitant to purchase another Samsung washer due to already having to replace our current Samsung front loader washer only after a few years. We rationalized that the leaking and error codes were due to the front load design and went with a top loader this time around. The "saleswoman" in our local Best Buy was rude, unfriendly, and honestly, I felt like a burden to her for having her place the order. She continued to push the "Total Tech" plan which did not make sense for our single purchase item and seemed unmotivated or uneducated on how the Geek Squad warranty worked or anything about the specific brand or washing machine. We waited the week for it to be delivered and installed and everything seemed to be working just fine. Having read through the user manual, it was my understanding that after 20 wash cycles it was advised to run the machine through a self-clean cycle. I followed the instructions perfectly (empty drum, no detergent, etc) only for the washer to completely shut off mid cycle. The washer acted as if no power was connected to it, none of the buttons worked, and the lid was locked shut. Again, we went to the owner's manual to troubleshoot, followed each step to no avail. I try calling the local Best Buy store where I purchased the unit, but they said I had to contact the 1-800 number. It's painful to speak with Samsung and Best Buy 1-800 numbers with people not in the United States. After at least 1 hour on the phone with these two "solutions", the Best Buy customer service rep assured me he was scheduling for Geek Squad to come out ASAP to service the unit. We paid for the 5 year Geek Squad protection, plus the washer had only been in use a couple of weeks. After waiting over a week with no washer I find out that the customer service rep only scheduled an "install" not a service call, even though I thoroughly explained the problem and Best Buy had already installed the unit. I'm told I have to wait yet again for another person to hopefully come out and figure out what's wrong with it. If I wasn't already past the 15-day return policy I would gladly ship this back to them and never purchase from Best Buy again for anything. The whole experience has been an issue, that has yet to be resolved. I only hope they swap out for a brand-new washer because I fear the current one will be moldy due to the lid being closed for a couple weeks now. I'm hopeful that this next service call is actually productive and resolves this issue. It's cost us $50 just to use the laundry mat during these weeks of waiting, not to mention stress for a working family with children. I hope this specific washer was simply a lemon and it's not a model issue. It's crazy to spend $1100 on something that breaks within 2 weeks. Up until running the self-clean cycle everything with the washer seemed fine.

This is an amazing washing machine. I searched for weeks for a new one, this one is the one, stop looking and buy it!

I have not used the smart functions but I’m happy with how well this cleans. Since this doesn’t have an agitator it is gentle with the clothes.
