Still can use but had to disable touchscreen capabilities. Main challenge is the battery life is awful. Didn't realize how valuable the fingerprint reader was for signing into to multiple sites until I had one. If it wasn't for the battery life I'd definitely get it again.

We got this (very similar specs) system as a college laptop 2 years ago. It’s been reliable and flexible for a STEM major. The construction feels to be a little on the light and flimsy side, but has been holding up well.

I get more use out of the touch screen than I originally thought I would too. It's not intended for gaming but for games I can play casually it works just fine.

Duing setup it said I could 'clone' my desktop to the laptop. I could not get that to work so had to manually enter everything that I wanted on the laptop. Really need to run it on a flat surface. Does run a little hot.
