Thanks for sharing your honest review. We're happy that you like most of the features of your WF-1000XM5 earbud headphones. We have also noted your feedback about remapping the touch control configurations, particularly with the touch sensors on the left beyond the default options.

You can change the function assigned to the touch sensors on the left and right headset units using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. For example, you can change the music playback function which is assigned to the touch sensor on the right headset unit at the time of purchase to the touch sensor on the left headset unit. Quick Access can also be used on the headset unit with the touch sensor that has the noise canceling function and Ambient Sound Mode switching function assigned. In the factory settings, this function is assigned to the left unit.
