I love my new MacBook! I use it to help me teach online courses and it runs beautifully, the person who helped me was very knowledgeable about the products. Plus with the Apple care coverage I don’t have to worry about a replacement if anything happens. The MacBook is sleek, light, and doesn’t heat up and doesn’t have that loud fan come on after a while of running like the Pros do or did atleast. This is my first MacBook Air and I think I love it more than my Macbook pros!

I think this M4 MacBook Air is my 28th Mac since 1984's first 128K Mac. It's actually not quite as thin or light as my 2013 Air (still running just fine but outdated in terms of support and apps it can run). It seems more or less the same weight and thickness as my 2000 M1 MacBook Pro. However, the Air is plenty lightweight, has great battery life compared to previous Macs, and it offers pretty much everything the average user might want. Like every Mac in recent years, it's a breeze to set up. It's easy to automatically transfer data from a prior computer, and the processor is super fast. I purchased this one for my daughter who has gone back to teaching. Just the base model with 16GB RAM and a 250GB drive is plenty capable and fast for what she needs. The keyboard is good, better than her old 2016 MB Pro and better than my 2000 MB Pro. When I replace my own MB Pro, I'll probably get the Air as I can't see a need for the extra features on the Pro line. I've always overbought my Macs and never really took advantage of the extra capability, to be honest. Visually, the Sky Blue color is a nice change, very pretty. For anyone with doubts about Macs, not a single one of my 28 previous Macs died or broke down. I still have and can boot up my 1989 Mac SE, which is a hoot for anyone who never saw one working. What happens with Macs is that over time, Apple stops updating the OS and doing security updates, and many apps no longer run of them. But you can always get 9 or 10 years out of one before feeling maybe you should replace it. Highly recommended computer. Finally, I've bought a lot of Macs at Best Buy and it has always been a great experience.

I am normally not a Mac person because I always felt macOS was confusing and hard to use, so I was hesitant even when I saw this MacBook on a great Black Friday deal. After setting it up, the interface turned out to be very intuitive and within a day I was comfortably doing my everyday tasks like browsing, streaming and remote work without any learning curve. The laptop is light, the screen is sharp and the performance is fast and quiet, which makes it great for carrying between home and work. Battery life has also been impressive so far and I can get through a full workday of emails, meetings and some light coding without needing to plug in. Overall, this purchase completely changed my opinion on Macs and now this MacBook is my main machine that I actually enjoy using every day and if you are on the fence because you think Macs are hard to use, this model might surprise you the same way it surprised me.
