We purchased this Apple MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip for our 15-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. It’s more than she will need right now, which gives us peace of mind knowing it will last her for years to come as her schoolwork and projects grow. The performance is fast and smooth, the design is beautiful, and the Starlight color is a big hit. Our experience with Apple products has always been great, and this one is no exception. Apple silicon isn't new, but it does still provide high general performance and amazing battery life with a sleek, light form factor. In my opinion, if you don't need windows for a specific application and aren't planning to use heavier applications like gaming, coding, or image processing, this is a great option. The pricing does gets trickier if you need higher storage and ram. I don't imagine users who would be interested in an air need the higher ram, but consider your options if the storage is a concern.
