    I don't even know where to start. We purchased our GE Profile Washer and Dryer in the end of July 2025, somehow there was some confusion and a stacking kit was not included even though we clearly stated that we needed one so we needed to order a stacking kit and have them come back out and stack our appliances. We were on vacation at the time so our son signed for the men to come in and stack them and I cannot even describe the damage that was caused to our appliances. They are no longer in working condition and here we are almost mid-Sept and we are still waiting to have the damages assessed by the company that was not only done to our home but the non-working washer and dryer that I just got a bill for!!! We have been given the complete runaround by everyone and can't get the right people to call us back and all anyone ever says is once you new appliances are delivered we will give you a gift card. Are you kidding me??? I absolutely will never ever buy from Best Buy ever again . This has been a complete nightmare.

    This has been a great washer been using it for a couple months, saves water and detergent, and withe the dryer it communicates together saves time and money, they also look good too.

    I was excited for this washer after reading reviews but I must have gotten a dud that GE won’t do anything to fix. When the unit fills with water it sounds like a gun shot in the house when the valve snaps shut with such a loud banging noise. It’s so aggressive that the hosing snaps back against the wall and causes scratches on the wall paint. The tech said that’s just the design of the washer (which makes no sense). I had plumbers come out, cut into my dry wall, and replace hammer arrestors just in hopes of adding any support, and it did nothing. This washer is a nightmare of a nuisance. I’ve been begging every tech/contact that I connect with to replace or repair this with no luck so far. Side note - I got Best Buy extended care warranty through geek and they would not work on it without GE’s approval, so I wasted even more money on the “peace of mind” purchase through Best Buy which was recommended by them in the store. It’s unfortunate, because the dryer is a dream.

    wow we had different company washer and after wash we don't feel like it was clean thank you we choose this ge and Best Buy washer it works perfect no smell after wash and highly recommended thank you Best Buy and ge .....

    Terrible Product – Ruined Our Clothing

    This GE washer has been a complete disappointment. Despite following all recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures, mold continues to grow inside the machine and causes a strong, persistent odor. That odor transfers directly to clothing. We have had multiple pieces of expensive clothing ruined because of mold and mildew buildup inside the washer. This is not a minor inconvenience—it’s a serious design flaw. We are currently going through the warranty replacement process with Best Buy due to how bad the issue has become. A washing machine should clean clothes, not damage them. I do not recommend this product to anyone. If you care about your clothing or expect a washer to function properly long-term, look elsewhere.

      We'd like to help out offer cleaning tips that can help with removing the build-up you are noticing. For cleaning the interior of your washer, we recommend using a "Self-Clean" cycle using bleach. You can find instructions on page 20 in the user manual. You will also want to clean around the gasket when leftover detergent residue is noticed. You can wipe this area and the dispenser section with mild detergent, diluted bleach or diluted vinegar.     Lasted Six Months

    Installed on June 5, 2025. It's December 16 and the washer has, for the past week, been shaking violently during the rinse cycles. We have a 2 year service plan from Best Buy but we were told we had to go through GE since it's under a year. Lots of features, but the washer broke in 6 months.

    It is good to use as using it as new product set up was wasy. Delivery service of best buy was really good and even sales rep who I dealt with was really nice and was knowledgeable

    Do not buy, washer shakes and moves

    I had high hopes for this washer since my LG only lasted 3 years but everything about this washer sucks!!! The only good thing about it is that I paid $899 for it. It shakes, moves and is super loud. I had only 14 days to complain and now I’m stuck with it and very nervous something is going to happen either a total breakdown or it starts to leak badly. I wish I had known not to purchase the matching pedestal because I feel that might be the root of the problem and possibly the washer too. The installation also sucked and I feel like an idiot having gotten rid of the first washer and now the replacement is just as bad. The second installers suggested that it could be from the pedestal but by the time I complained to Best Buy, the 14 day warranty expired even though I did buy a warranty, Best Buy will not have another repair service to come and get rid of the pedestal to see if that genuinely is the problem. I will not purchase any appliances at Best Buy again!! I will only buy appliances at Home Depot instead.

    To be clear, the features are new to me! Really love the venting system. I turn it on and it dries out the inside of the washer. With my previous washer, I had to leave the door open to air it out.

    I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience regarding a dryer purchase I made on February 22. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to use the appliance. I scheduled a delivery for the first week of March, and after making arrangements with my employer to be home, I was informed just two days prior to the delivery that the dryer is on back order, with the next available delivery date being April 19. I find this situation quite frustrating, especially since I have not received any compensation for the inconvenience caused. I confirmed that someone would be home to accept the delivery, yet there was an attempt to reschedule because I could not answer the phone while the driver was outside. Additionally, while I am currently on vacation in Scotland, I learned that the installation did not occur because the installer claimed that the spring valve was out of code. However, he was unable to provide any documentation and did not seem to communicate effectively in English. I am seeking clarification on these issues, as this experience has left me very unhappy, and I may reconsider my future purchases with Best Buy. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    This is a great product. I love that with the app, I don’t have to keep checking to see if the clothes are finished. The different cycles of this washing machine is AWESOME. You need steam? Poof, it’s there.
