The delivery technician was aware of the issue but still left the defective unit at my home. This occurred after my working washer and dryer were removed, as I had purchased this set as an upgrade. Over the course of 7 days and approximately 10 hours spent communicating with Best Buy, I attempted to resolve the issue, despite having purchased a 5-year extended warranty. In the meantime, I was forced to use the dryer on the “air” setting, only to discover that the drum continues to spin even when the door is opened, posing a serious safety hazard—especially for children. As for the washer, it fails to fully dissolve detergent pods, leaving residue and melted pod around the rim.. While GE Profile is marketed as a high-end brand, my experience with this set has fallen far short of those expectations.

Posted .We are so glad you are happy with your purchase. This is a beautiful model, and we are so glad it is working well for you. This does have a Soak Rinse for Sanitizer button to enable. An additional chime will occur, and the cycle time will increase due to additional soaking time to activate the laundry sanitizer. To cancel the option, press the Soak Rinse for Sanitizer button again. NOTE: Fill the fabric softener compartment in the dispenser drawer with the recommended amount of laundry sanitizer.

Don’t Buy from Best Buy

Delivery men said I needed a plumber at both. Plumber came and said it wasn’t true. $250 extra dollars for their “free install”

Called many times to resolve. Told they would come to fix and never showed, cancelling the appointment 5 minutes before anticipated arrival. Called back and told it would be another week. Having a washing machine that never worked and having zero support is terrible. Also dented the dryer when installing.

A slow spin speed will eliminate less water than a fast spin speed. Another reason for this is oversudsing from too much detergent. This will slow down the final spin cycle, causing a suds lock.
